It is a story of the fake GOD. In this era, there is the being (Eel) that became the GOD himself after losing a mind and the being that made to become the GOD with beauty and magnificence (Mermaid Bobbie Doll) and the both revel themselves into reality. In the world made by humans, not by goodness of the absolute GOD, the GOD becomes the being denied, doubted, resented and untrustworthy. And humans look away and leave the absolute GOD. The story of someone that realized the undeniable existence of the GOD becomes powerless again, and all evidences of the GOD simply turn into faded imagination. In addition, it is a story of the GOD. Instead of ignoring the mind of those who resent and doubt the GOD, I wrote stories of their doubtful mind as it reflects. My stance against that of the GOD, and the stance of the people, taking these in account, I want to start listening to the inner stories too delicate to contemplate. It may be the same as wandering around to find unknown answers until the moment of death. I want to respond to the story of the GOD with my own inner story, instead of the story told by others.
가짜 신에 대한 이야기다. 마음을 빼앗겨 스스로 신이 되어버린 존재(Eel)와 아름다움과 웅장함을 갖추어 신으로 만들어진 존재(Mermaid Bobbie Doll)가 현실에 드러나는 시대를 살아간다. 절대적인 신의 선함이 아닌 인간에 의한 꾸려져 가는 세상 속에서 신은 부정되거나, 의심되거나, 원망되며, 믿을 수 없는 존재가 되어간다. 그리고 인간은 절대적인 신을 외면하고 떠나간다. 일생에 부정할 수 없는 신의 존재를 알아버린 이의 이야기는 다시 무기력해지고, 증명할 수 있는 모든 증거는 그저 사라져버린 상상이 되어버린다. 또한 신에 관한 이야기이다. 신을 원망하고 의심하는 사람의 마음에 대해 외면하지 않고, 그 의심의 이야기들을 있는 그대로 적어보았다. 신의 입장에 반한 사람들의 입장이 되어, 미묘해서 알기 힘든 내면의 이야기들에 귀 기울기를 시작하려 한다. 죽는 순간까지 알 수 없는 대답을 찾아 헤매는 것과 같을지 모른다. 이러한 신에 대한 이야기를 통해 누군가가 이야기 해주는 신이 아닌 내 안의 이야기로 답하고자 한다.

-People who became the GOD themselves/Sea eels living in a church wearing a toy crown/
They live in a church wearing a toy crown in a grand and holy manner. They are the beings that became the GOD themselves. They believed in the GOD, resembled the GOD and finally became the GOD.
The Eel is a vicious marine animal dwelling in a group. It is a scale-less fish, which in the bible, was prohibited to eat. The Eel, in the story of its GOD, was compared to something that became the god without keeping its own faith. The slick and long Eel, at a simple glance, looks like a snake. Eels dwell in a long hollow cave hiding their body. They adorn themselves with small girls’ plastic necklaces and crowns, struggling hard to express its authority and dignity. Whether they become the king or act as the god, there is a grand sanctuary at the background where they swim in free and easy. At the sanctuary, they admire the god and desire to become alike the god and then they expect to be respected by everyone, looking down from above, by becoming the god.
-마음을 빼앗긴 존재_스스로 신이 된 사람들/Church에 살고 있는 장난감 왕관을 쓴 장어(곰치)들
웅장하고 신성하게 장난감 왕관을 쓰고 Church에서 살아간다. 신을 믿고 닮아가다가 스스로 신이 되었다.
무리 지어 살아가는 Eel(장어류_곰치)는 포악스런 성격의 바다생물이다. 비닐이 없는 물고기류로 bible에서는 부정한 바다생물로 먹기를 금기하였다. 이러한 Eel은 본인의 신에 대한 이야기 안에서, 믿음의 마음을 지키지 못하고 스스로 신이 된 존재로 비유되었다. 미끈하게 길쭉한 형태의 Eel은 얼핏 보면, 뱀의 모습을 닮았다. 자신의 몸만한 길쭉한 구멍 같은 동굴 속에 몸을 숨기며 살아간다. 몸에 여자아이들의 플라스틱 목걸이와 왕관으로 자신을 치장하며 그들의 권위와 위엄을 나타내려 애를 쓴다. 그들이 스스로 왕이 되듯 신 노릇 하는 그 배경에는 거대한 신전이 있고 그곳을 유형하며 헤엄친다. 그곳에서 신을 사모하고 같아지기를 소망하다가 스스로 신이 되어 모든 이들 위에 서서 존경 받기를 기대하고 있다.

The beautiful Bobbie Doll with the mermaid’s fin was created looking like the god. Plentiful hair is grasping children’s toys.

Fight to defend minds in a continuous war_ Those who defend their mind can defend their life. Who could dare to say that they have enough power to defend their mind? Mind, at some points, hits the bottom and submerges in water. If it can grasp something visible, mind grasps it tightly without letting it go. And at the moment that the idol relied deeply in mind comes up to the position of worship, the idol in mind is brought up without reserve.
In this way, the idol that can’t talk with a mouth, can’t see with eyes, can’t hear with ears, can’t smell with a nose, can’t touch with hands, can’t walk with feet and can’t make even a small voice with a throat, is created by stirring mind.
-마음을 쏟아 부음 / 머리카락으로 장난감을 움켜쥔 인어
아름다운 Bobbie Doll은 인어의 지느러미를 달고 신의 모습으로 만들어졌다. 풍성한 머리카락은 아이들의 장난감들을 움켜쥐고 있다.
마음을 지키는 자는 생명을 지킬 수 있다. 누가 자신의 마음을 지킬 수 있는 능력이 충분하다고 말할 수 있을까? 마음은 어느 순간 바닥을 치고 물 속으로 빠져 들어간다. 눈에 보이는 무언가 잡을 수 있다면 어느 것이든 단단히 묶어두고 포기하려 하지 않는다. 그리고 마음속 깊이 의지하는 idol이 숭배 받는 자리로 나아서는 그 순간, 마음속에 있는 idol은 거침없이 토해져 나온다.
입이 있어도 말하지 못하며, 눈이 있어도 보지 못하며, 귀가 있어도 듣지 못하며, 코가 있어도 냄새 맡지 못하며, 손이 있어도 만지지 못하며, 발이 있어도 걷지 못하며, 목구멍이 있어도 작은 소리조차 내지 못하는 idol은 이렇게 마음의 흔들림과 함께 탄생되었다
